Bowling @ Orchid Country Club
Sangam had many plans to engage our youth in games and other activities which will not only ignite interest in them to come forward for future Sangam activities but also to be part of the committee organising activities for members. Amongst all the activities discussed, bowling gained consensus and therefore on 23 April 2023, a bowling session was organised for our members and their families.
22 members and committee members participated at Orchid Country Club Bowling Alley. All members, young and old came as early as 9.30 to gather at the bowling alley. For some it was a new experience while for the rest it was about exhibiting their skills in bowling. We had such a bonding time which introduced us to new faces and also to get to know the rest better. This bowling activity, besides serving the individual families as a recreational activity, also gave an opportunity to foster team spirit within themselves.
Each team played 2 games and following that lunch was provided by the gracious contribution of our Committee Member Sathiyacelan.
Briyani and Mee Goreng were served with soft drinks. Fortunately, OCC had the facility to accommodate us all to sit comfortably and to further bond during the lunch reception. All in all, it was another memorable event for everyone, and we are longing for more in the future.
